i am going to change the tranny fluid in my stang tomorrow and see if it fixes my problem. use auto tranny fluid right? i haven't looked into it and i heard a while back from the guy who rebuilds them (forgot his name) on here to change it with auto tranny fluid. just wanted to make sure.

2.75 quarts i believe... just fill until the top plug starts dripping and you're good ...i receommend getting a pump otherwise it's a PITA! some do it through the shifter hole, personally i hate that technique.

you can use sythetic auto fluid but royal purple of gm synrchomesh are way better
