Drain the old; add new.

unbolt the cover, drain all the fluid, clean the rear out with a rag and brake cleaner, install a new gasket and put the cover back on.... then fill-er up

im gunna add to adder's so you dont get covered in nasty fluid. when unbolting the cover leave the top 3 in but losen them that way when you pry the cover off it doesnt fall over and have fluid go all over you and the floor not fun to clean up. you dont need a gasket for the rear cover just some rtv and you are set just let the rtv dry for a little before refilling the diff, dont forget the additive

So when right when i unbolt the cover the fluid will just pour out?

Whats holding the fluid?

How do you refill it?

What do you pour the fluid into?

get a oil catch pan they sell them at advance and autozone. you gotta get rid of it just like oil from your oil changes. there is a bolt that a 3/8rachet will fit in pull that out and fill it with fluid till it starts to flow out of that hole. then put the bolt back in and your done and like i said dont forget the limited slip additive

So once you take the cover off you will see this bolt? Where is this bolt located?

And when taking the cover off, it will just start pouring out?

Antother question, what kind of fluid do i get?
