even though the R wheels were only produced in 17"... so, that makes them mini-versions

+1 screw body filler, that would bug the crap out of me knowing that the cowl was still bashed up under a bunch of filler...

Your going to have to find a donor car to swap it off of and get it welded onto your car.

RE: Cowl bent??
mine was worst then that and the local repair shop here fixed it like brand new 400 bucks. They did everything but paint it. I am going to have the car painted soon anywho. I started it and and almost had it done but i did the cheater way with a lot of body filler and it did not look as good they fixed it the correct way by prying it up and flatting it out and so on but it looks brand new and fixed my fiberglass hood all for 400.00

Yea thats definetly not supposed to be like that lol. Unfortunatly if you want to replace the piece its going to be expensive. Like posted before I would just try to fix what you have. Have a shop fix it for best results I have the same problem with my 88 (not that bad though).

Holy **** man, if you think that was supposed to be normal then you do not know anything about these cars. Yes it could be fixed by yourself, but if you werent sure if that was normal, i wouldnt trust yourself to do it. So it is easy, take it to a body shop and say hey how much to fix this? Then post prices of what you were quoted. Everyone on here will give you an idea if the shop is ripping you off or not. Just whenever you go in to ask, make it sound like you know what you are tlaking about...or else they will think they can scam you.
