About to pull my dash, evap. core?????
So,I'm about to pull my dash to replace my evaporator core. I did my heater core two years ago so it should be ok. Its not to bad, as my dash is cracked by the left air vent and has broken mounting areas in various places,I have a replacement(dash) I bought a few weeks ago to replace this one with. I'm going to go ahead and replace any vacuum lines I find under it while it is out. My "Q"is what else should I look for while it is out? Any typical problems I may be looking over?I figured it would be a good time to check my wiring out for any problems orinsulation breaking. Its a '90GT if it matters. I look foward to this as it will kill a couple of birds with on stone!

Main thing would be to check the condition of the wiring harnesses and check for any leaks arond the bulkhead. For the love of the children do not pinch any wing putting it back together!!!!!!!!!![&:]

I also here it is a good idea to replace the blower motor as well while everything is apart. Have not done mine yet, but when I do I am going to replace the heater core, evaporator and the blower motor.

Just a little heads up for you guys, 87-89 dash is different than 90-93. Climate controls mount different and 87-89 has provisions for fuse box in the dash, not below it like 90-93's. So luckily my neighbor has a wrecked '91 with the same color interior as mine, so I get to pull yet another dash!!!!!
