your car has tfi ignition. and what do you need a rev limiter for? your car has one stock, its 6250rpms. the msd box will only let you lower the rev limit.

sorry. haven't had time to respond.
yeah... i know it will only let me lower it, but i was just curious, i'd get a new ignition module so i can limit it that way, since i don't need to be revving that high anyways. i would want to keep my engine safe in case i don't manage to shift and then over rev.

doesn't the rev limiter that is already installed only shut off the fuel? not spark?

thats one thing i do not like about msd... the damn pills.... but the digital window switch is the ****... no pills

i personally couldnt justify spending the money on a limiter, unless it were a two stage, or came w. an msd box

what tach were you looking at? dont tell me the stock tach. the stock tach isnt accurate. many people have tachs so far off they can hit 7000 on the stock tach before hitting the limiter
