Just charge the battery and fire it up!! it'll either go or blow!!! if it starts check under the car immidiately and look for potential leaks. good luck!!!

Another vote for pulling the distrubutor and priming the oil pump with a drill. This will pressurize the bearings with oil. Instant pressure at start up.

The starter method takes too long to get pressure and in the meantime. The cylinders and rings have no lubrication because the engine needs to be running to lube those.
