b cam and e cam are perfect, you dont need anything carzy unless you getting some high flow heads, and basically everthing associated like intake exhaust etc, i have a b-cam to tell you the truth i wish i had the e-cam bcam operates from 3,300 to 5,500 i personally dont like to drive in that high of an rpm range on a day to day basis, i have a daily driver, e cam operates best between 2,500-5500 it has a better range and is better for daily driving, e-cam is btter for strip, you could also go carzy and get x-cam or z cam etc but your guarenteed not to pass emmissions and you will have clearance issues with the pistons which will require machine work and it's really not worth the hassle unless you plan on making it strictly a race car. "oops wrong button"

so the b-303 is best for daily driver? and will i still pass emissions with it? and should I get 1.7 rocker or 1.6, I was leaning toward the 1.7's but i could be wrong.

b cam will not pass the emmision test and the e cam is a little more for a daily drive. The e cam has a littel more lift but the b has a better duration. B sounds great at idle with the lopy sound. I have the b in my car and love the idle and performance. but dont recommend it for passing the emision test. The motorsport cams where excellent in their day but i think they have better combos out now with either lunati or comp cams. Also trick flow has a couple good ones. I was never a fan for the edlebrok unless you get the whole match set up with heads cam and intake. That might be a good aproach because its a matched combination that has been test with the exact same components.
