hey i think i just posted those LOL.... they will work just fine, i actually like them alot because they have the white plastic inserts that the pushrods rub against instead of metal.

im not sure, but with those you may not even need new pushrods

But the stock heads arn't designed to work with roller rockers, you need studs to mount them on, the stock heads have just a screw to hold the rocker arms down with.
wow your stupid....

1993-1995Cobra's came stock with 1.7 FULL roller rockers. and they do bolt directly onto stock GT heads

You need to make sure they are PEDESTAL mount rockers, but yes, they will hit your valbe covers unless you remove the oil baffles

wow, what a f(ckin *******. I was assuming he was refering to the stud mounted roller rockers you *****. Because if you really read the question, yea, thats kinda what it sounds like to me, doesn't though?

Damn this site has changed, last time i logged on somebody would have politely corrected you instead of being a f(ck head and calling someone stupid for a mis-interpretation, because thats what it was.

in your original post you made no mention of roller OR stud

ORIGINAL: kevman41635

I have a 94 5.0 5 speed and i was wanting to know will 1.6 or 1.7 rockers work with out any moding to the vavle covers or rods or anything like that
and 88 stangaruu said that you cant use roller's on stock heads... which is WRONG

Don't try and tell me im wrong... you may have meant to ask about studs... but you didnt actually ask about them

see, thats what i thought, you seemed to ask if you could just throw some studs in your heads and then put some like Comp Magnum roller rockers on, thats what i was assuming. Thanks for clearing that up.

yea most of the time, when people ask about roller rockers, they want a true roller rocker, not a bolt down type with a roller tip adder. A 93-95 cobra rocker arm isn't the first thing that pops into my head when you mention a roller rocker, sorry.

So go ahead and attack me and Kevman because your an ******* and you know you were in the wrong straight up calling somebody stupid for answering a question in a different manner than you thought to be right.

Ok, yes, the cobra's did come with roller tipped rocker arms, but in the true sense of a roller rocker, which he was refering to (i.e. an aluminum or steel cast roller tipped, needle bearing rocker arm) he couldn't just throw those onto stock E7's.
