Hey all,i am in the uk and am rebuilding a 1988 302 HO. now it did not come with a transmission. in an impulse ebay buy i bought this. it looks like an AOD/E or an 4R70W but looking at the starter motor mount it has three mounting holes. so if this tranny is for a modular engine is there any way to make it fit? the advert said

Impulse shopping on ebay can be a very bad thing. Always read up first and ask lots of questions.

Hope it works as good as it looks from the auction pics. Says Lincoln but not what years.

itll probably fit a 302... but might not fit the car

it will fit the car. its going in a mark one ford capri. even if i have to cut transmission tunnel! thanks alot guys for helping me with this.
