is it even driveable... if the pinion is facing the ground i can't see the driveshaft still being able to turn or even may have slipped out of the tranny.

definately get some pics

Sounds like you spun the axle tubes. But I really don't understand everything your saying. Also that slammed stance probably had you rear suspension geometry all out of wack.

What do you mean by plugs on each side of the rear cover? I don't know of any plugs... take a look a the pic below... if you broke the two black things in that pic, they are called upper control arm mounts. God people, open a book and read about the car you're beating the snot out of and you'll know what these parts are called. If that is what's broken and you don't even know what they are, then you have no business trying to fix it yourself, so I'm not going to explain... just take it to a garage.

I know exactly what he means by plugs. On each side of the cover, on the center section itself there are 2 circles. They look like freeze plugs. You can see them in the pic.

Blckstang93 your absolutely right those are what broke and to clarify

http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5888882

Ill have pics up tomorrow once I get a chance to get under it. I am pretty sure its shot. as long as the damage just stayed in the rear end and didnt travel to the transmission I wont be so mad. I did however notice i am now leaking tranny fluid.

As far as the trans leak goes... with your pinion gear sitting at whatever ungodly angle you say it is, you've probably pulled the driveshaft out a bit. It slips onto the output shaft and the only thing that keeps trans fluid in is a little bit of rubber. Assuming your output shaft is alright, the trans shouldn't have a problem. Don't drive it anymore

for half the money it costs to put a 9" in, you can build a bullet proof 8.8"
