NOW, he didn't say the bellhousing is longer because the input shaft is longer....so, slow your roll. It was all because of the interior and where the shifter needs to be.

cus they are hard to find i can get a 99gt edge for almost the same, being the 94-95 are so rare people latch onto them. so i want a edge with a 5.0 carb set up

the K-member is different.... but why not just get a 94-95 instead

I know what you mean about 95 and 96 bringing good money. I ended up buying a 96 instead because you can get those so much cheaper. I ended up buying a 94 anyways afterwards as I am not a big 4.6 fan.

i think a 99gt would be sick with a carbbed 302, or better yet a 390
Stick with the small blocks.

390's are great engines, but would be alot harder to drop in than a 302 so ya stick with the windsors

hmmn i geuss he might have over looked that. i thought a 390 wasnt really a big block, like its more of a car motor than truck. being inbetween big and small block, and isnt the 360 block the same just diff stroke?
