well plenty of power doesnt really give me a number? my goal is to havce a 10 sec fox, with about 600 hp an tq (either with this motor or not). but i would like to have a kild street engine for now. using the cam you were shipping today?? and stock heads. i might get the worked a little bit. buti want to get a dyers, and some forged internals down the road.

For the power levels you're running the stock internals should be fine, but like I said, a trick way to do it is with forged lightweight internals, the engine will rev quicker and be much more efficient

yeah, cross that bridge when you get to it - for now get the motor in the car and enjoy something streetable yet fast. btw i got your cam shipped today, should be there in 6-10 days i think they said. remember to get new lifters, use cam lube and shell rotella oil to help break the old cam/new lifters in. your gonna want a double roller timing chain while your in there as well

yes and yes, if you can find a cloyes chain that would be best - price should be the same and then you KNOW its a quality piece. the lifters look right, but they are more expensive than i thought they would be.

try this:

or this one from canada:

lobe separation, i have NO IDEA lol....... on a cam of that size i really dont think thats some critical spec which needs to be known.

i think this will be best then, a cloyes true dual roller timing chain set.

dunno, dunno..... but that timing chain you posted - that seller i have personally met!!!!!

we drove down there and picked up a transmission for my buddies chevy pickup. the guys name is "maddog lou" and he looks like henry rollins brother or something. he was cool as hell though, so yeah at least you know its a good seller

*edit* you could probably get lifters and a gasket set from him too - save on shipping and he may give you a better deal if you buy direct instead of from ebay.
