Getting check engine codes

RE: Getting check engine codes
The best way is to have a scanner that can run a KOER or KOEO TEST to pull codes there may be a way to flash the codes grounding out a connection but can't remember the pin numbers as I have a scanner and this is all I ever uses as it's quicker faster and when you blink codes out you still have to have a book to reference the number too to decifer it.

Go to Auto Zone and ask for an OBD-1 scanner, got mine for 20 bucks (package had been opened). Drivers side behind the battery, black cover reads EEC test or something like that, remove the cover and plug in!
