well i took her to the tranny shop today to see how much it would cost to have it looked at and the guy said 290 for them to take it out and look at it...so i was like whatever and left...i was on the highway using cruise control in 5th gear and was about a half mile from my exit and i herd a pop noise that sounded like it popped out of gear so i grabbed theshifter and it was still in gear but i was just coasting...i took it out of gear into neutral and tried to put it back in 5th and it wouldnt go in...tried every other gear and the same thing...i cousted up to the end of my exit and pulled off to the side of the road...tried to put it in first and had to use 2 hands and force it in....even thought it was in 1st the gar still wont move...same with every other gear...the only thing it will do is neutral so it seems like its completly locked up...thank got i still got neutral or else it coulda got really bad considering i was goin 75...looks like shes all done for...maybe even my last time drivin her...its got a hole in the door where the lock used to be when it got broken into last month...a cracked windsheild from a piece of $hit dump truk flingin crap everywhere on the highway and a ripped apart dash also from when it got broken into...not sure its even worth it anymore...what do you guys think?

well the thing is im 21 with an 8 dollar an hour job living on my own in a townhouse complex and going to school next quarter...no money...no place to work on it...my only option would be to get it back to my home town and keep it at my dads for a while...im gonna do whatever i have to do to keep this car...or else somehow start savin up for the 03/04 cobra

yeah well i make 7 bucks an hour...

im trying to buy $1,000 heads by tomorrow, leaving me with $216 to live off for the next 2 weeks.

since i drive the car everyday i have to buy a separate block just so i can put this damn thing together and still get to work.

believe me.. i know how it is.

not to be to hard on you here but if its your daily driver and it was already making noise you should not have been racing it. As well third car busted tranny is not a coincindence.Either way you look at it, it is cheaper to have them fix the tranny. under 300 aint bad. my shop charged me 500 to pull it regardless if they fixed it or not.
