Once in a while my car will all of a sudden go extremely rich and stall. It will restart but I have to keep my foot on the gas or it will just stall again. Large amounts of black smoke too. If I let it sit for while it will run good again just like normal and may or may not act up again. Also, only once it lit the check engine light.

Let me know if any of you have seen or had this happen before. I was thinking O2 maybe or TPS going funky.

Sounds like an O2 sensor. Pull codes. They'll point you in the right direction.

sounds like the problem i am having sometimes.......where can i get the codes pulled????
