Yep, H/B is one of those 'drag cars'.
I've spent a fair amount of time getting the wieght out of it.
Its 2960# with my carcass in it and it's running a full exhaust system............

On the same subject, look at Vizard's story in this new edition of 'Muscle Mustang & 5.0' magizine.
He makes a point of showing that getting rid of 10# is the same as adding 1 HP.
At that rate, you could get a 306 to run like a 347 but getting rid of 320# or so which is what I did last summer...........

I had a 93 notch, an 85 GT hatch an 88 GT an86 notch an 91 GT and the car I have now is a 92 notch. I have always liked the look of the notch , that is just my thing, If you know me then itsthe notch hands down everytime. They are lighter then the rest and just look bad A$$.

I've had Fox body notch, convertible and hatch, I like them all but my notch has been the most fun to drive out of all. I've driven some bad a$$ hatches that would easily stomp my notch, but I woundn't trade my notch for them.

Notch all the way, only reason i ever bought a stang is cause of the notch styling, and is probably
one of the only styles i'll ever buy.
But everyone's different, alot of people must like the hatchs seeing they produced 3X as many

I think the notch is 500 pounds lighter than the hatch and I think the hatch has better weight transfer

+1, I found that online somewhere

but I love my hatch to death, t-tops FTW

I love my notch also but who really cares whether it's a notch or a hatch! The big point is that they are both MUSTANGS and as far as I'm concerned thats all that matters!!! Justowning a mustang-- whether it's fast or slow-- makes me a happy man!![sm=exactly.gif]

Notch is NOT 500# lighter.
150# maybe and that may be pushing it, I'm too lazy just now to get my big book out...........
