Default 351C fox

I have a 351C its bored .030 over has edelbrock intake, Holley 750, Comp cams camshaft, 4bbl heads w/oversized manley valves and double springs, also attache dis a C4 with manual valve body and a converter. What will it take to put a clevland in a fox other than headers and patience? is there speacial mounts or are they the same? Also it has a 7qt front sump oil pan will that work? It was in my 1976 mustang II im getting ready to yank the motor since no one will buy the car. I'll have to change the pistons to lower compression its 12.5 to one i dont want to run 110 in it. Anyways can someone give me info on parts and experiences please.

header, patience, oil pan pretty much it mounts are the same, bellhousing etc just get a set of 69-70 mustang headers and mod and bend the pipes a little for about 100$ instead of the swap ones you need a specific oil pan the fox is dual sump one on the 351m/400 truck pans might work you have to check

they make swap pans. what did you do for headers/pan/etc to fit into the II? i may be interested in those.

anyways..... i would keep the C in the II and just drive it, that sounds like an awsome ride. can you throw up some pics?

Thinking that Canton has the pan and pick-up for the C motor.
The whole thing seems to be a good idea if you can afford the swap stuff........

the headers are custom made, they go over the control arms down then exit behind the front tires in like a 3 1/2 inch collector. The pan was also made by my teacher they hacked up another pan and made a front sump 7 qt pan and it actually worked. Otherwise I think thats it as far as the II swap went. It actually occured before I was born. I picked it up 10 years later out of some weeds and rebuilt everything.

hat about motor mounts? was there any cutting of the car to fit it in?

again if you want to get rid of them and the price is right i may take them off your hands for a future 408 C headed build.

btw what did that 4bbl headed 351c run in the 1/4?

Its a helathy motor but the 5.38 gears helped the timesdont know i only run it 1/8th mile i do know its also been 6.40's on a 125 shot once. As for the motor mounts they were the same it was a 302 car. About the cutting I dont know it has nothing but a cage and some fenders int the engine compartment with all the room in the world
