Default SLP Loudmouths

I have SLP Loudmouths and a off-road H-Pipe on my 94 GT. It sounded really sweet untill I installed a BBK CAI. Now, it kinda sounds gay.
1. Do you guys know why the cold air intake makes the exhaust soundsodifferent?
2.Is there a way to make it sound like it did without taking the CAI out?

why? if its a fender mount, its 50x better than the stock box.

more air coming in, and more air coming out.

B/C the stock box goes thru the same opening as a fender mount one. A K&N filter will produce the same effect just not as flashy.

I had a K&N in place of the original filter and the exhaust had a real nice throaty, deep tone to it. After the BBK CAI, it sounds like a louder version of those gay *** hondas running around with a fart can hangin'

Vey strange. I can't see how it would make a change in the exhaust tone.
