rims are everywhere...ebay has them latemodel resto has them jegs, summit, ford racing,...they are everywhere...s for the engine...if you were to keep the engine in it i would say put a 600 holley on it weiand stealth intake and get a decent flat tappet cam, because thats what your engine is. if you go too big i think you will have to flycut your pistons.any heads will be better then the ones on it so you could get some 289 hi-po heads or gt40 heads for a cheaper price...but if you have cash to spend then their are better heads such as trickflow afr rhs and so on...another route you could go would be to get a 5.0 out of a 87-95 mustang with the roller cam and get a trickflow stage 1 cam or better yet a custom grind cam and then some afr 165s(personal preference) a 650 holley double pumper(also preference) and a nice intake such as the weiand one mentioned above. get a holley blue fuel pump and regulator for your combo and it will be nice.you coulde bore it out to a 306 if you like or even go as far as to stroke it to a 347...then your combo would be killer... if im not right on something someone please correct me thanks

weiand# 8124intake (action plus) and a holley 570 street avenger, with a summit # sum-k3601 cam and lifter kit (218/228 .471/.471 114deg)

that right there would make a hellofa difference, and would cost you like 700 bucks or less. you could swap out those heads for even a set of E7TE and you would get a compression bump. obviously there are better heads but you could score a set of E7's for virtually nothing (with all the h/c/i swaps areound here there has to be alot of people with E7's layin around.)

do something with your exhaust..... hell for 1000.00 you could be into heads/cam/intake/carb/exhaust [8D]
