Water temperature
Hello guys,
Since I bought my 95 mustang, I was wondering why technicians made water temperature sensor so simple. All I can see is the red arrowtraveling within the [] NORMAL [] zone. It's ok if this arrow is in the middle position but I'm starting to be nervous when it goes a little bit right in hot weather or in the traffic. Do I need a new electric cooling fan?
Thanks

RE: Water temperature
Thanks guys for your response!
Way off, it's great but did you ever think about exact temperature level? Maybe it is below normal? In this case you'll burn more gas. Another thing, which is more dramatic, overheating may damange the engine. In my earler car, there were temperature levels shown from 140 to 230. I was able to see in what condition the engine was running. And the "Normal" working temperature, based on my experience, is 194.
But anyway, because ofmy pure experience in american cars,I'll be less nervous seeing your responses

RE: Water temperature
I have an aluminum flex fan, the rest of my cooling is stock, ( UD pulleys also, so fan spins slower). My stang normally runs at the bottom of the A in NORMAL, and at the top of the A when its really hot out. I was a bit frightened when it was running at the half mark, someone on here said thats the perfect level(maybe for stock plastic fan?), i topped off my coolant level and its back down in the low A.
