what are these lil ports on the back of my heads? they are stock E7 heads, since I am running a carb can I block these off or are they part of the vacumn system?

those are thermactor holes, if your not gonna run the smog system, go to summit and search for thermactor plugs

You can go to most GOOD hardware stores will have them also. I found some at my local one, they cost me 50 cents. I put some teflon tape around em and theyre done.

PS: I believe theyre 3/8" x 1" coarse thread.

thanks, yeah I'm diching the smog system... no emissions where I live/less stuff for me to put back on/less parts to break later on down the line

I just made my own covers

I just made some covers also. The bolt size is 5/8"-11. You need them to be between 3/4" and 1" long. Also if you make the covers just bolt them in using the small hole which is a 5/16"-18.

yeah i couldnt remember what size they were but i remember they were something oddball. pioneer makes plugs, and your local auto parts store probably has a pioneer catalog (or call you local machine shop they prolly have them in stock

thats what they look like, but to pay 10.00 handling fee for a 4.00 part just sucks - so go buy them locally [8D]
