Default Would this cause my massive loss of power?

i had my car in a local shop for inspection and an idle problem, the idle problem was fixed with a summit 75mm MAF. I have no installed my BBK cai yet because im still waiting for it. The car has NO power, would the lack of the CAI cause this?
thanks

car is 100% stock except for the new MAF, ran like a champ except for the idling problem before i put that MAF on, the instuctions for the MAF say it is tuned to run with a CAI

Sounds like they messed with your timing. Check that first.

Matt was probably thinking that you could have clogged cats... especially if tey are the original, stock ones.

As far as the new MAF, you probably didn't even have to do that. You most likely could have purchased a can of MAF sensor cleaner and cleaned the sensor wires. That usually clears up that problem.

ya that makes sense about he cats, yes a shop put the MAF in the car idles perfectly now with the new MAF so it definitly sovled one prob, ya i knew i could just clean the MAF but i wanted to upgrade anyways and get ready for H/C/I this winter so i figured i would throw a bigger better MAF in, car is going back monday but that doesnt help me enjoy my ride this weekend!!!
