im looking into buying an aftermarket off-road x pipe or h pipe for my mustang. My car is a 91 lx 5.0 with an automatic tranny and the car has a set of shorty headers on it. Was wondering if the off-road exhaust is going to set off any dash lights or anything with my o2 sensors since i would be getting rid of the catalytic converters? and would appreciate any suggestions on brands to go with for the exhaust. The specs on the car right now is that it has headers, underdrive pullies, flowmaster mufflers, cold air kit, ram air hood, subframe connectors, and 3.55 gear in the rear end. hit me up with some suggestions for the exhaust and whether the x or h pipe would be the best sounding on my setup. thanks for the help

going with an offroad pipe wont set off any sensors or anything. I have an offroad UPR X and works just fine

lol..i have a feeling someone is going to come in here and try to be a jerk about what is better but its just personal preference...i have an bbk o/r h, and i love it but i suggest go to somethin like yahoo videos or google videos and listen to some clips and decide for yourself which u like better...like i said its all personal preference...x's usually have a more raspy sound and h's are deeper...but u decide wut u like better

I have had both, X pipe currently and i like the sound from the H more.

My opinion is the h pipes soundsbest on the pushrod motors and the x pipe sounds best on the modular motors.
