stubborn speedo cable
so im putting my instrument cluster back in and i can't get the speedo cable connected, it won't align properly. The piece insade that spins is bent to one side of the female connector so it won't align, i've tried to straighten it but it just springs back to the side, any suggestions?

RE: stubborn speedo cable
If you can't get it, a new one is around 25 bucks...but I thought the square cable entered first, then the body of the cable entered. Is the cable sticking out very far? Have you tried to pull it out a little?

RE: stubborn speedo cable
You may try undoing the cable from the trans and try pulling more cable out ofthe housing at the cluster. The cable just slides back andforth if memory serves me correctly. Pull some cable out and feed it into the clusterfirst then try putting the cables housing onto the cluster.
