I recently had problems with my electrical system, and my alt. light came on. Battery would die, and it would hold a charge for no longer than a day.My car was just running on the sheer battery power obviously and the alternator wasnt charging it. Bought a new battery since the one i had was pretty old, and a new alternator along with a belt. Installed all three items, and my car still doesn't hold a charge at all. The only improvement that I've seen from all of this is that my little alt. light is no longer on. Other than that, she is still just sitting in the driveway. Anything tricky little things I may have missed during the install? I was extremely easy and I do not see how I could have done it wrong. It was easier than an oil change. Any help?

did ya check you wires going to the alt? one could be corroded or broken...

do you have a multimeter? If you do hook it up to the alt and see how many volts its putting out

Both harnesses and wires going to the alternator looked good, but I cleaned them with electrical contact cleaner anyways. And yea, I really need a multimeter to see what I'm working with.
