Nitrous B.S.
Just for sh*ts and giggles, whats the most nitrous you've ever seen or heard of run on a stock bottom end/totally stock 5.0 motor with the right tune. (Not just spray bombed until it grenaded.) but actually tuned correctly and ran for a legit. period of time (1320 feet isn't a legit. amount of time either )
Ive seen plenty of 150's and 175's, ive heard of one or two 200 shots but never actually saw them first hand so those are maybe's.
Any of you guys?

RE: Nitrous B.S.
i've seen 175 being ran on stock 5.0. i've heard of 200 shot before on stock 5.0 but i doubt it was for long. actually that 175 shot was my buddy in highschool and he ran it like that for....6 months every other weekend at the track before he upgraded his motor(rebuilt with new internals) and not because it broke but because it had 225k miles.

You'd be surprised how many blocks meet their intake limit before they grenade. An engine can only suck in so much air/nitrous/fuel before it starts to back-up along the intake and out to the throttle body and MAF. After that all it takes is one errant spark and *poof*.
Car Craft ran an experiment like that on a Chevy 350 a few years ago. Yeah, its a 4 bolt, but the principle is still there. 200 ran fine, 250 ran fine, but on their second run at 300 an enormous gas cloud formed above the carb. Then *boom*. Ate the carb, and melted a bit of the intake. You can just imagine what it would do to all the plastic and electronics in an EFI setup.
They took it apart. Bottom end was fine, rotating assembly was fine.
