I'd look for some GT40s or something man, Sure, they may be a hair better than E6s but the money you will spend to get those heads workin right wont be worth it. It looks like they have been thru a fire then buried for 10 years

yeah i figured as much. im well aware of what i cant use addermk2, i was asking if they are better not if they will fit/work...i do listen...well most of the time. i was hoping since these are old that they might be good

those heads flow just as crappy as pretty much every other small block ford head. they are absolutely nothing special. yes rocker arm studs can be pulled and replaced with a press in and pin, or a single screw in stud - but those heads are literally useless.

a gt40 or gt40p head is actually a pretty damn good head and has alot more potential. kinda like the later model SBC "vortec" heads (906 castings) that flow virtually as good as some of the aftermaket stuff.
they are great heads if you are racing in a class that requires ford castings, are going for a sleeper look, or simply dont have a grand to shell out for aftermarket heads

well everyone keeps saying how horrible 86 heads are and how any other head would be an improvement
