Default oil burning?

hey guys while checking out why my idle would be high I checked my oil level and it was low. The problem is that maybe a week to 2 weeks ago I put like 400 ml of oil in and now I had to put the rest of it in. wtf is up here? there are no leaks on my driveway and there are none at my parking spot at work...so could someone please tell me what is happening and how I can fix this....it isn't good to be losing oil that fast...I am using Full synthetic oil. Thanks

it could be using some oil, or burning some oil. How long have you been use full synthetic.

Btw, have you tried taking you special restrictor plate out to see if your idle goes back to normal?

and no i have not tried taking it out. I like that as I don't get the rpm hang as most of you other guys do. if it means my rpm stays at 1000+ and no hang time, I don't car then lol....

Hey, I just wanted to find out if you had tried it just to see if it would help. I guess I am lucky, my car never hangs onrpms between shifts...

no i am canadian so i don't have my car in miles thanks.. lol

I put that restrictor plate in there because my car would hang like crazy. It would make shifts very rough and jerky as the rpms would hang at whatever you shifted at. So lets say i shifted at 3000 rpm it would hang for 1-3 seconds then the rpms would come down causing a very rough second shift....

damn I should have bought a civic [8D]
