Default zex rpm window switch

Have any of you installed one of these? I finished wiring it up last night and I have a question about programming it...

This is where i get confused:
STEP 1: TACH signal set-up
Number display B and C should be set to the chart below (Number display A is not used in this step):
0 0 = individual coil per cylinder systems where the TACH wire is connected to the coil
0 1 = coil packs that fire in pairs (waste spark systems) and the TACH wire is connected to the coil
0 2 ~ 1 2 = number of engine cylinders, from 2 to 12, where the TACH wire is connected to the tach from the engine electronic controller or distributor

Thanks

sounds like thats the option you want... the 00 would be for something like a vette for example, where each sparkplug has its own coil on top of it.
the 01 would be for like a GTP where its a 6cyl with 3 coil packs, each going to two cylinders
ours has a single coil.... so set that bitch at 08 and call it good.

my msd window switch set up is similar... and thats what worked for me

my zex rpm window was $158.99 shipped. To set rpms its really easy. There is 4 steps on programming.

1. tell it how many cylinders you have... in my case 08
2. 0, 1, 2, etc. if you want to skip spraying in a gear
3. I activate when the n20 starts to spray, I decided at 3000 rpm so on the window switch it shows 030
4. I deactivate when to stop spraying, I went with 5800 rpms so 058
5. end
I mainly got this brand in case I dont want to spray in 1st because of traction issues. The programming was really simple, I just got a littleconfused about which one was mine... hope that helps you out

How much did you pay for your msd window?

well im going to start out slow with a 50 shot. I heard on a s/c car it almost doubles the shot... so we will see. I have micket thompson et's so hopefully I will hook and not have to skip 1st.
