Why don't you just take the cable loose from the fork and check the action of the pedal assembly without the tranny hooked to it. This will tell you where you should be looking for the problem. If the pedal it still tight with it disconnected, there is no need to drop the tranny

i agree with that but i can't imagine with just the cable attached to the pedal that there would be any problem. there isn't anything to mess up as far as the pedal assembly goes.

mjr46 do you have a firewall adjuster or a aftermarket quadrant on your pedal assembly. i wish you were closer i would love to route around and see if i could find the problem.

my stock cable i have wasn;t the same size as my buds on his stang.. when i putmine on the car there was too muchslackat the pedals it would fall off oncethe pedalcame outnow imgoin to try a fewthings withit tommmrow because themy adjustable cable snapped from the tigtness and tension being so great on it.. it snapped where it comes through the bell housing where its held in place

does anyone have pictures of their engine bays that may have the clutch cable in it so i can see and compare, or pics of their cables if anyone has that
