Default rear end

i have an 89 rear end still on the car with 410s and i have an 83 with stock gears and i think a 7.5 inch rear can i jsut take the rear end out and put it into the 83 easily? are rear end easy to take out?

sure , will bolt right in. there not to bad to swap if you have a buddy. there heavy and bulky to move around by your self.take the driveshaft,emergency brake cable,brake line,and the 4 control arm bolts. and itll fall out

check your bushings in the 89 rear, might need new ones, probably need some heat to replace them
