I've never replaced the blend do motor but I'm guessing the whole hvac assembly has to come out. You've got to pull the dash, discharge the ac. Should be 3 or 4 bolts and the box comes out. I think the blend door motor is right there once you got it out.

So were talkin dash console, stearing column? or just the covers? take it completely out of the car? The door should be left or right side... Im thinking under the glove box but Im clueless to this..... Im opening a can of worms aren't I? *shakes head in disgust*

Basically doing the same work as a heater core or evaporator.

If its just a vacuum motor replacement, no need to pull all that crap out maybe. What is the problem? Which door is giving trouble?

Check the routing of the cable and the shielding to make sure there aren't any sharp turns or kinks in the cable and shielding is the first thing I would look for.
