Default pistons

i am in the process of rebuilding a motor for my 91gt its a 302 that is gonna have gt40 heads-1.7 roller rockers-e cam- cobra intake - 65mm throttle body i was currently deciding if i should forged or hyperuetectic pistons. i know forged is better. i dont plan on using a power adder at all atleast not on this motor so my question is will the hyper pistons work with my set up to where i wont have any problems.

if your going to be boring and needing new pistons you will be fine with hypers for what your plans are. if you can get away with stock bore then your good with your oem forged slugs, just have the machine shop touch hone the block to give you a fresh cross-hatch.

Forged pistons today are too cheap not to buy them. Save money elsewhere.

I'd sure spend the extra $$ and go with the forged pistons.
Forged pistons are the toughest thing out there, they will last forever....

thats debatable..... i have 8 forged pistons in my garage that are unusable LOL

i know i wont be spraying, or using any forced induction so i said what the hell and spent 100.00 on coated skirt hypers instead of 400+ on forged. will my motor know the difference? nope.
