So i finally got my mustang back together today. WHO ever had this car before me is a dumbass. He stripped some bolts out in the intake manifold. ANY WAAAYS. SO i get it all buttoned up and im ready to start it. Get in it, and turn the key and it starts right up, and sounds GOOOOD!!! i get out of the car and its POURING WHITE SMOKE out of the exhaust. It smells like firecrackers almost!! Im like WHAT THE HELL....and i notice that the back of the lower intake is pouring freaking oil out.


SOOO what do you guys think is the problem???? Im open to suggestions!!
Probally going to buy another motor tomorrow.
Do yall think $300.00 is reasonable for a Bored .30 Over 302??

Did you use the gaskets that came with the gasket kit for the front and back or did you use silicone?

I used silicone. I know i didnt use enough, and thats why it's leaking.

That wouldnt cause it to smoke for the tail pipe

Actually it might be the cause. You might not have sealed it comepletely and now you have a vacuum leak. This is leaning out your Air/Fuel ratio since un-metered air is getting into your motor. Also check your timing.

Is the smoke actually coming out of the exhaust pipes or just out from under the car? With that big of an oil leak that close to hot exhaust and the cooling fan blowing, could just be the oil burning off the pipes!

Its actually coming out the tail pipes. I have big chrome tips!!!

Just rip off the lower and reseal it and your problems will be solved....and make sure your pcv valve is in

$300 built like pistons everything crank rods cam heads or what?
