Get the intake if you can, always a good step in the right direction. You should also look inot a set of 1.7 RR to make you cam more into the cobra spec to help with the intake.

I felt a good boost in performance when I swapped my TF street heat manifoldonto my stock motor. It's worth a noticable SOTP gain. I'd save the money up for a full exhaust though. Been there and done that, you'll like the exhaust much better.

How about not commenting unless you've actually done the swap. You will gain around 15 to 20 horsepower. I had a stock motor with ford f cam and went to the "chineese crap" cobra intake and went from 9.60's consistently to a 9.1. Agreed you wont see that from a stock motor, but it will definately be worth the swap.
