might rub a little at full lock, but you will be able to deal with it and it really depends on tire size and backspace

You might have to roll the fenders slightly depending on your suspension but overall that should fit pretty nice.

the tire size on these rims is 245 40 17. the rims themselves are cobra r 17x9's. would this have any issues with rubbing or would it work out with just a tad bit of rubbing? any more info would be very helpful. thanks

i've seen that wheel/tire combo so many times, you shouldnt have any problems
at the most you "might" have to roll the fenders a little

I'm running 17X9'S with 245 X 40 X 17 on my 89 GT which has a smaller wheel well open that your 91Lx.
At full lock my rims slightly rubbed on the A- Arms but not on the fenders, I installed a set of (travel restrictor's that's whatFord calls them) or Rack Limiters as most people call them and that solved my rubbing on the A-Arm issues. . It took me a total of probably 20 mins and $5 to install the rack limiters if you were wondering, so believe me it's no big deal installing the limiters.
