Hey everyone, my 83 finally starts and runs!I'm home on leave from iraq and I took the time to finish getting my car up and running. After the final assmebly it fired right up as soon as fuel was added to the mix on the first crank! It still needs a little fine tuning on the carb because its runnin really really rich. It starts easy and runs smooth when cold but as soon as it gets warm it misses and then i shut it down. Pull the plugs and they are black. im slowly workin with the mixture screws but i will do more with it tomorrow. I only have like a foot of exhaust pipe off my headers so its loud as hell and my newborn is sleepin lol. and i rattled all the spices off the rack in the kitchen so the wife got a little madbut she got over it really quick.i have a video of the initial start up and pics of the finally assembly and will post them shortly. Ionly have a week left before I have to go back to play soldier in Iraq and i have to spend time with the wife and our newborn. so it may take a little time.

but heres my setup:
non roller 306 pulled out of a 4x4
a cam of somesort (not sure what but the previous owner said he changed it)
stock nonH.O. heads
Edelbrock performer intake
performer 600 electric choke fuel pressure at
MSD blaster 3 coil with blaster box
stock electric pump
holley fuel pressure reg. set at 5 psi right now
