I am gonna replace my tranny but have no idea what to go with. I want a manual tranny and want the best choice for my fox. I saw the two trannys in a magazine. Can anyone tell me what they know about the trannys or what other ooptions i can go with?

gtp 40 intake maxed
3.73 gear

Well, the six speed will let you run a steep gear and still keep decent fuel mileage.

If you do a lot of interstate driving, I'd definately reccomend the viper 6spd as for the viper is the only one I know if that has a 0.50 6th. The tremac has 0.67 or 0.80 6th options only.

Happy with my 600hp Tremec TKO 600 - 5 speed
w/ 3.55 gears I'm right 2,500 rpm at 75mph going down freeway

Not as nice as a Viper spec T-56 but it only cost about 50% less at $1,600

There is also the G-Force T-5 rated at 500hp from Astro Performance
