Out of curiousity, why are te O2 sensors that far back? That cause cause problems that you would need to tune around.
Basically, the engine takes a reading from the O2 sensors and then makes a change by either adding or removing fuel. It then checks for the result of the change after a certain period of time. It then takes the results from teh reading to make further changes.
Now when you move the O2 sensors further away but don't tune it properly, the computer doesn't know that you moved the sensors. So it still waits the same amount of time and then ckechs to see the results. Of course, it won't get an accurate reading because the distance increased, which means that the time it should have waited should ahve increased...
End result.. it ends up with a screwed up ratio while the computer tries to figure out why it always seems to be doing the wrong thing at th wrong time A siple solution (if you stay catless) is to make a few simple changes in the pulse delay via a chip.

yeah the o2 sensors are to far back why I have no idea and I have a hypertech chip installed it appears, I will do more research and find out whats up with this richness.
Thanks for all the help

Its simple, if the 02 sensors are placed way back there before the flowmasters then one of them is actually behind the smog pump pipe wich supplies air to the exhaust to assist in burning hc and co and make em co2.
The excess air is confusing your sensors and i would have to assume it is alot of trouble to move those sensors back there why??

well I didnt move them back there, they were there when I purchased the car in march.
However, I moved them up right below the headers now, and still not much change if any.
You raised an interesting question.....could my smog pump be bad...it is running quiet on the belt, but could something in side or a valve be bad causing my problem.
P.S. I had O2 sensors tested, and are good.
No codes.
