Will stock valve covers from a 91 stang work with e303 cam and 1.7rr?
I thought I heard somewhere that stock 5.0HO valve covers will work with this combo if you remove the oil baffle on the passenger side. Idon'twant aftermarket valve covers on my car because I want tokeep it looking stock.

yes it works just cut out the oil baffle thats all i did it and it works fine when i had 1.7 rocker in .but i upgrade to a cam and 1.6 but you will be fine for a stock cam

better yet edelbrock sells an extra thick valve cover gasket, it's about 1/2 thick I have a set under my bench at work or you can double up on two gaskets using the right stuff by permatex to seal the two halves together
