I currently have my fuel pump (holley blue) pumping all the time when the car is on.. no fuel pressure regulator. What are the downsides to this? Should I invest in a fuel pressure regulator? Any recommendations.. would the OEM ford one work?

im no expert but i would recomend getting an aftermarket regulator. My guess would be the stock regulator is for the stock pump. I know it would make me sleep better not having to wonder ya know

I have a kirban fuel pressure regulator and love it, so I would recommend the kirban fpr

I have a bbk fpr and its a really nice quality peice and only runs around 100 bucks, it looks good to.

i have a hard time believe the car even runs without a regulator.

why would you run it like that?

BBK regulator i had did not work at all, got an Aeromotive.

no fpr? is your car carburated? if not tell how us you ended up not having a fuel pressure regulator. i mean if it's fuel injected what did you do to the fpr mount on the fuel rail?
