Default Clutch Adjustment

Guys,

Wondering the best way to adjust my clutch. When i put the clutch pedal to the floor and rev up to 3500 rpms the car starts to move. So it not disengaging correctly. Should I get a firewall adjuster or get under the car and adjust. Does anyone have any experience doing this and if possible give me some pointers.
