Default Fuel pressure regulator?

I think mine is bad on my stang. If you hook up the fuel pressure tester will it still show good fuel pressure? I'm getting 35-40 psi. It won't go over 3k rpms and the check engine light isn't on.

Also, why would my brake light be on? It stays on all the time and I know the brakes aren't sticking.

your fuel pressure is slightly low....
as for your brake light issue...look under the dash...there is a brake light switch you need to change to make the lights go off...

I didn't word that right. I meant the brake light in my dash. Beside the check engine light. The lights on the rear end don't stay on or anything.

gotcha...check your parking brake handle...make sure it is all the way down...if so, then check your brake fluid level in your master cylinder resivoir...

Brake indicator could be a problem with the e-brake handle switch, brake fluid level switch at the main pump, or a problem with the proportioning valve. Do suggest the following:

1. DIY KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance Self-Test

2. Check if the problem with the 3k rpms "rev limiter" happens with the SPOUT connector removed from the TFI harness..
