Hi all, I was wondering when tohave my shift light come on. I have it set at 3500 right now, but I am not sure if it is too high or too low. Any input?
3500 is WAYYY to low..... Id start at 5000, and move it up 100 rpms at a time untill you feel like you have reached the peak performance. If your engine is stock, I wouldn't go past 6000 rpm.
every car responds different to seperate combos. where an engine makes its peak power is specific to each car. generally speaking you would prolly pretty safe at setting it just shy of 5k considering that you have a basically stock motor. one question for you though, i see that you have 24# inj's (which aren't really necessary with ur combo) but it says nothing about a maf thats calibrated to them. do you have a maf calibrated for them, cuz if not my guess is that ur running kinda rich?
