RE: how does it work
I had the same issues with the adjustable cable from steeda. I have their quick release quadrant and the firewall adjuster. My cable broke because the sheathing came loose and the cable was actually making the inner layer of the cable stretch out and makeing it impossible to shift it. well, at least using the clutch. I had to limo it home, luckily not much city traffic, cause at every red light, stop sign, I had to shut the car off, and put it in first gear, and then shift using the enging rpms and matching up with the trans. it sucked. Anyhooo.....back to the point...I had trouble getting the adjustable cable to function right, but once I did, it was slick as glass. I had to adjust either the fork end of the cable or the firewall adjuster after about 6 months. problem I had, was the nut on the end of the cable at the fork kept comming loose and it wouldn't disengage or engage the clutch properly. any ideas on that? maybe double nut it?

RE: how does it work
there has to be two nuts im sure u lost it.. i dont see how it would work if it didn;t.. mine stayed tight.. the cable just stretched..i have that figured out now i had too long of a cable and it was all bent outta shape and eventually snapped because of this.. now i have the rightcable butit doesnt disengage the clucth at all fully adjusted andpushed in to the floor..i have a used resurfaced flywheel that may be way too thin for the pressure plate to grab on to so ima get a new flywheel and pray to god it works lol
