to do an 85-86 you don't need a write up com'on??? take the bezel off =4 screws under the dash pad lip....remove the bezel.......speedo cluster is now visible.... now remove 4 screws at each corner......pull it out slightly enough to reach behind it and unplug both connectors and squeeze the speedo cable release and out comes the cluster If I take my time on my 85 gt it may take 3-5 minutes most of that time is involved in finding my dang sockets and screwdrivers.

yea the 85, 86 dash is soo easy, like literally takes 5 minutes...yea i had some troubles picking camera angles to make sure i got everything in the picture, but if really needed i could go out sometime soon and pull out the 85 gauges...yea sorry bout that gauge cluster removal, not dash removal...dash is a wee bit more time consuming and advanced haha
