RE: GT-40 cast iron heads on 347 HELP!!
This will be mostly a weekend car. Basicly restoring my 86gt. I want show and go. My engine bay budget is about $7000 Tha will have to buy everything. So, anyone with Ideas bring them on. i already have a Tremec and short-throw shifter. Also, I need to upgrade to Mass-Air. Bring on the part lists.

I know a guy round here with a 331 in the high 11's with afr 185's and comp cam stroker cam and trickflow track heat intake. Id use a tubular gt40 myself because of how badass they look even if i do sacrifice hp for torque.

RE: GT-40 cast iron heads on 347 HELP!!
The bbk SSI intake looks pretty good. So good in fact 2 years ago me and my buddy both ordered one. I never got to install it though. The workmanship was terrible. The logo on both were hardly readable. One had a 2in gash on top, it looked like someone hit with a 4lb hammer, the other one was cracked at one of the bolt holes all the way through. Both had a lot of shavings throughout and both also had like 3 and 4in. jagged metal in the top of it where the TB connects, the metal was real thin. It just seemed like it missed a couple of the finishing steps. BBK were actually dicks about it. I bought them from brothers performance and they gave me a full refund, payed for shipping back and they said they would deal with BBK themselves. If you search, there are too many people having problems with the intake.
