Default Rear Disk help

I want to convert the rear end to disk....yes i know there are many forums started. But every brake kit i have looked at usually says something along the lines of 8.8. Now if i was to get a 9" rearend would these beable to fit. Or where can i find some that would?

Now at the same time i want to convert to five lug as whell. Im going to be getting strange 5 lug 35 spline w/ their locker. Im gonna be putting down around 550 at the wheels. If i was to get these brakes Wilwood what else would i need that isnt included.

For one i know ill need a pro. valve, e-brake cable, new mast. cyl.. Thats all i know i think. The front im all set on.

Thanks guys

Wilwood, Baer, SSBC all make rear disc brakes for the 9 inch. there are others too. on a side note if you get wilwood disc's you will have to drill the holes on rotor slightly larger to fit over the wheel studs. there is a little lip on the end of the stud close to the axle that is slightly larger and wont let the rotor sit flat on the axle. i have had to do this on all the wilwood kits i have installed on aftermarket axles. im not sure about other kits though.

would you reccommend them. Baer is to expensive for my taste and ssbc's full conversion kit doesnt look bad. But you never really hear anything about them. Ive seen them advertied in 5.0 and MM&FF but ive never heard a word.

i calledstrange and asked them about it but they insisted their brakes are for drag only. Which i dont believe since they have a pro street/track setup.

But what other components do i need for the setup. besides what i listed to install the rear brakes. Everyone always just lists "ebrake line, ect."
