with that thing ^^^ = poop

are you a budget build? if your gonna be skimpy on you build get a gt-40 intake or something that looks good like the typhoon intake

**edit** your stroker kit will not be able to operate at its potential if you use very limited products, gotta have the flow to go!

don't skimp out on the heads!!!!! trust me!!! i had completely reworded e7's with bigger valves. it suffocates the motor.

at least some trickflows, afr, canfields, eddy's something.

get a holley systamax or trickflow r and a custom cam. with boost friendly compression it will still make some power

hehehe.....everything. if your on the cheap i suggest, typhoon from pro. products, lots of room to be worked, very thick casting. if your looking for performace then i suggest holley systamax or trick flow R as listed above.

custom grind i agree on.

heads, dont go cheap

price range? if your looking for ideal set up, get something like RHS 180cc alum heads or AFR 165cc, Eddy RPM performer II, Typhoon, or Holley Systamax intakeand a custom grind cam. with your stroker kit you'd be close but put a 100 shot of juice for good measure and you'd be at 400 fo sho!

everyone will have an opinion, most of them all will work to get you at 400HP

I recently saw the spec's on the Anderson cams.
I wasn't impressed in the least.
You'll do better at Comps for about the same $$$$$$$...........

is this a daily driver ? thrashing at the track every weekend ? or a combo of both ?

asking for 400 hp, i assume you want to go mid to hi 11's since thats what 400 true hp will get you

you don't need a stroker for 400 hp, not at all. here was my buddies setup and he went 11.60 or 11.80 (he swapped out to a c4 from his t5 and i don't remember what time went with what tranny)

anyways....bone stock 302shortblock, '92 gt almost full weight(removed sway bars and rear bumber inner)
gt40 heads, ported exhaust, slight ported intakes, a little deck to get them to 10:1 compression, some kind of upgraded valve springs, but nothing major
stock cam , stock crank
box stock gt40 intake (real one...nothing looks better)
4.10 gears
125 dry NOS 5115
et drags 26X10.5
65 tb
80mm maf pro-flo
24 lber's
255 fp

launched at 5k on the spray, yankedan ez foot, et'd at 11.80 and 11.60 on each trans

totalinvestment ? probbaly $2900 tops

those hard launches did break 2 axles so he went 31 spline mosers, then he broke the t5 thats when he went c4 and never broke anything again

if you want 400 on all motor, then stroke it, those heads will work though, i like them alot

stroker + blower or 100 shot = 500 hp and 10's all day long, i have 2 buddies like that, a 327 crate motor and a 347 kit from anderson i think
