When do you need headers?

Are the stock ones fine until you get more horsepower? Do they affect the way the exhaust sounds much?

When it 's time your ready to start getting serious abnout your stang.It's the begining of the mods and h/p and a better sound.I would recomebd bbk shortie headers...........welcome!

your car needed new headers the day it rolled off the assembly line. the stock manifolds are a joke!

summit ceramic shorties, i recomend northing else unless you want long tubes

I had shorties, so here's my advice:

If you're serious enough to need headers, you need longtubes. A lot fo guys do them as a 'basic' mod.... Not needed.

I would only go through the hassle if you're doing FI or h/c/i

Otherwise it's one of the worst $/hp mods you can do.

Exhaust should/is one of the first things that should be done to a mustang!!Right beforeremoving that air silencer in the fenderwell!!! [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
